Why is the rental period longer than the purchase price / 100?

Monthly lease and the taxable value

GoByBike employee bicycle's monthly lease is the same as the taxable value of the bike ( 100 €/month ). The monthly lease includes the cost of finance of the bike as well as the insurance costs, which both depend on the purchase price of the bike. The more expensive the bike, the higher these costs are. Because of these costs, the length of the rental period does not directly correspond to the purchase price of the bike.
