How much do I save with the bicycle benefit ?

Your income affects the savings you yield with the bicycle benefit.  

A bicycle you receive from your employer as fringe benefit is  tax-free up to €1,200 of taxable value per year. Given the benefit's tax-free nature, the savings you yield with the bicycle benefit depend on your individual income. On average, the employee ends up saving roughly 20-25 % when redeeming the bike at the end of the leasing period when compared to a situation where they had bought the bike as a consumer ( = without the bicycle benefit ) .
